To the Summerlin and Lyon families, Our prayers are with all of you. Elaine will be missed here on earth, but we take comfort that the Lord and Charlie have welcomed her with open arms. I met Elaine long before Gracie and Lisa introduced her to Charlie. She would pull me through the races with the Striders. I loved her then and I loved her more when she and Charlie married and she became my mother-in-law. To think I have had the good fortune to be included in her love for life and family. She always shared a smile and genuinely cared for everyone she met. My prayer to you is, 'God bless those left behind and be merciful, for those who have been called to you are truly blessed.' I say this often now and hope it brings you peace.
